Gaurav holds a PhD degree in Biochemistry and Cancer Biology from Medical College of Ohio and is working as a Research Scientist at Rutgers Cancer Institute in New Jersey. He worked as a Research Scientist at University of Pennsylvania prior to joining Rutgers Cancer Institute. He has numerous publications in several high profile & internationally renowned journals and has been a recipient of several national & international awards for his research work. He was recently awarded a $100,000 funding award by the New Jersey Commission on Cancer Research, to study the epigenetic mechanisms involved in the breast cancer development and designing a therapeutic strategy to target the most lethal triple negative subtype of breast cancer.
